Build a Niche Store Review Update

by admin

It has been some months since I wrote my review of Build a Niche Store (BANS). I thought I would update the progress with two of my BANS stores. The top one is the same store I showed you in the original post. The second is less than two months old, and it is pulling in over $300 a month, all via organic traffic.

The stats look different because eBay left cj.com and took their affiliate program in-house, calling it eBay Partner Network, or ePN.

Those stats are from August 1st to August 25th, not even the whole month! I blocked some of the info, because I do not need to create any competition, obviously.

So there you have it, stats from two of my BANS stores making over $1,000 a month. I am not BS’ing when I say I set it and forget it with these stores. After the initial keyword research and store setup, I literally only update or tweak the stores once every month or two. If you pick a good niche, and choose your keywords properly, with a little SEO work you can be at the top of Google, Yahoo, and MSN extremely fast, and stay there. I do not pay for ANY traffic to my BANS stores. All my traffic is organic. BANS is very search engine friendly. You can even cloak all the affiliate links by simply clicking on a check box in your admin area.

With the remaining stores I have setup, I truly have set up a nice passive income, all thanks to Build a Niche Store.

3waylinks.net Case Study

by admin

For this review I will be doing a case study of John Leger’s 3waylinks.net. We will see if the $47 per month membership fee is worth paying for. I have set up a website dedicated to this case study at 3waylinkscasestudy.com.

There are 5 websites with Adsense on them and the only promotion will be the link building service at 3waylinks.net. No other link building or adversiting will be done for these sites. Updates will be posted weelky.

Build A Niche Store Review

by admin

If you are still struggling with your first affiliate dollar, or even if you are making a decent income, you owe it to yourself to check out “Build A Niche Store“.

On average it takes an affiliate marketer over a year to be successful. That is if they don’t give up first.

I know from personal experience this figure is true. During the first year and a half of trying everything under the sun to make a buck on the internet, I stumbled upon people talking about Build A Niche Store (BANS) in a forum. I decided to give it a try (which is a STEAL at what they are selling it for).

I never had much luck with creating websites with affiliate products on them. In the beginning I was spending much more promoting the sites than I was bringing back in. Without getting into it to deep, here is how BANS works. Basically, the program builds a niche site, pulls listings off of eBay, and puts them into your site’s store. The listings are integrated with your eBay affiliate code, and when someone clicks on the listing on your site, it takes them to that exact listing on eBay. Even if they don’t buy that exact product, even if they buy something else, even if they buy something else within the next 7 days, YOU GET PAID! You can see how the eBay affiliate program is one of the best affiliate programs online.

You can see exactly how this works in more detail at the BANS website.

I set up my first eBay affiliate BANS site in June of 2007, I couldn’t believe it when 2 DAYS LATER, I had my first commission from that site! I didn’t even promote it yet! Google had indexed the site, and I got some visitors from some “long tail” keywords that turned into a profit.

That site made me about $50 profit the first month off of organic traffic, and it is still making me good money today. I had never made anything close to that in the first month with a brand new website. That was the most exciting $50 I have ever made!

I would suggest BANS to any affiliate marketer, or anyone trying to make money on the internet. Check out the BANS website to find out more, or keep reading to see some screenshots of my account to prove to you BANS works!

Here are my stats in November for one of my “average” BANS sites. I registered the domain on October seventh, 2007, and had the site up and running the next day. The first month the site made about $20 with absolutely no advertising. All the traffic to the site was organic from the search engines.

Here is a screenshot of my account for this site for November 2007, click it to enlarge, and be sure to hit the “Back” button to return here:

Here are the December stats for the same site:

December Stats

Once again the traffic was all organic! No advertising costs! Keep in mind this is an “average” site. Some do better and some not as good in the first couple of months. Just imagine if you set up ONLY ten sites that generate ONLY $100 per month. (I say “only” because that is a pretty conservative estimate. I have talked to people who have BANS sites that make in the thousands per store.) With 10 sites at $100 each, that’s an extra $1000 per month!

Anyone can set up a BANS store in less than 5 hours. That includes niche research, keyword research, domain research and purchase, installing the store, and customizing it to not look like other standard BANS stores (which is very easy to do). It actually takes less than 20 minutes to install the store, research is what takes the most time.

For our example above, it is a total of 50 hours work for 10 sites, making $1000 per month. In a years time, that equals out to $12,000, or $240 per hour of work! Not to shabby! Keep in mind, all my traffic is organic. If you advertised your BANS store, imagine the possibilities!

The only costs I incur is hosting and the domain purchase for each store. I host all my stores at Hostgator in the same package for less than $10 per month. If you figure $120 a year for hosting and at $10 each for domain renewal, that’s only $220 per year to keep your stores running. I don’t know about you, but I would trade $220 for $12,000 any day!

Recapping, Build A Niche Store is a great product for anyone looking to make some extra cash, or a full time living online. It is easy to set up, and the support from the creators is better than anything I have seen. The Build A Niche Store website has a forum for members only. You can post any problem you have there, and it will be answered very quickly.
